Dale Hollow Lake Shoreline Cleanup | Local and state

The Friends of Dale Hollow Lake, in conjunction with the US Army Corps of Engineers, recently held their annual lakeshore cleanup. This event has been held on the 4th Saturday of September every year for several decades.

Jim Evans used a boat provided by Willow Grove Resort to cruise the Lee Douglas Dunn Trail area with six scouts and two leaders. About 50 additional Scouts, including their leaders and parents, worked in the Lilydale Campground area. Kinnion Dunn, Dan Rossman and Toni Johnson worked from Dale Hollow Marina on a Dale Hollow Marina sponsored double deck pontoon in Cedar Hill. They were joined by three scouts and two leaders. Dale and Michelle Braun worked at Horse Creek Marina with a pontoon provided by the marina. Mike Davis and Raymond White used their personal boats at Mitchell Creek. Brock Jones with the Corps assisted in Pleasant Grove where a large dumpster had been placed.
