Lake Shore Savings Bank is celebrating 15 consecutive years as a season sponsor for the Michael C. Rockefeller Arts Center at SUNY Fredonia.

The Dunkirk-based financial institution has pledged $12,000 to support performing arts programs for the 2021-22 season.

Rockefeller Arts Center Director Jefferson Westwood noted that the unwavering support of Lake Shore Savings means more than ever before as programming resumes in 2021-22 after being halted by the pandemic.

“We were able to reopen our doors this season because of a strong financial position, in part thanks to the Lake Shore Savings Bank and its commitment to the performing arts in our community,” he said.

The Lake Shore Savings Bank was the very first corporate sponsor of the Rockefeller Arts Center and has long set the standard for corporate sponsorship in the local community.

Originally established in 1891, Lake Shore Savings has grown to include 11 branches in Chautauqua and Erie counties. Its head office is located at 131 East Fourth St. in Dunkirk.
